From there Hewlett-Packard made their oscillator to test sound equipment. For many yeas innovations were made to these basic models to mostly make more advanced way of doing calculations. Many computers didn't have any other functions than just doing the 1 or 2 things they were made for. It wasn't until the 1960's when video games were first being made mostly being Pong. Throughout World War 2, computers were made to help with missile trajectory and maneuvering antiaircraft guns. After the war computers were used to do more calculations at the same time. In the 60's more advanced computers starting to be made by IBM and HP. Over the next couple decades the difference between computers and calculators became evident. Personal use of computers began as type writers. Computers soon came after type writers. Today major players in computers are Microsoft, Apple, HP and Dell.
